About the Role
We are looking to add an additional headcount to our existing finance department to help increase the efficiency of the department. The roles and responsibilities highlighted below cover the majority of the tasks that will be shared between the respective departments, but experience in all fields may not be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle the day to day transaction on Fixed Assets module
- Monthly Closing and Reconciliation of Fixed Assets module with General Ledger
- Handle Rental Musical equipment accounting work with Retail and Inventory team
- Assist in Fixed Assets sighting exercise
- Work with Centre Managers and Divisional Managers on maintenance of Centre Fixed Assets listing
- Handle all lease accounting work including lease amortization calculations in accordance with IFRS116 accounting standard
- Liaise with auditors for annual audit
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and control
- Organize all documents and files in both physical and digital storage
Hiring Criteria:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Experience in using Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
- Knowledge of IFRS 116 accounting standard preferred
- Positive Attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential
- Independent worker, resourceful, able to work with little guidance
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- Organizational skills
