Work Week: 5.5 days
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday
Salary Ranges: S$25,850 to S$27,900
This vice president position will be responsible for the Asia and Oceania Region (including Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Japan, New Caledonia (France), New Zealand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop the Company’s long-term sales strategy with the Group in the Asia & Oceania market.
- Implement plans to foster long-term sustainable sales growth, execute the approved long-term strategic business plan and annual budgets, and meet sales targets.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Company and its Asia & Oceania business units by maximizing sales.
- Ensure the Company’s goals, objectives, mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented to relevant stakeholders in a strong, positive image.
- Deploy and comply with the Company’s and the Group’s policies and guidelines.
- Provide the necessary leadership to keep, motivate, and develop the management team and ensure a healthy work environment for all employees.
- Provide timely finance and commercial reports following the Group Policies and ensure that the Company operates according to the Group’s policies and directions and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure full transparency and smooth coordination with the Group.
- Involve heavily in Trends and R&D of new products to be launched in what has become a fast fashion for Architecture but has regional tastes to consider.
- Spearhead the e-commerce transformation in Asia while dealing with the international barriers that this creates.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 18-20 years of experience working with architectural materials for retail, commercial, and projects.
- Proven track record of supply chain experience as this plays a key part in this role, from specification to manufacturing and logistics; this skill set of dealing with APAC customers, European manufacturing, and hybrid logistics in the middle is a skill all in itself.
- Experience in building and retaining highly successful sales teams in competitive markets.
- Highly skilled at Brand and Product positioning in Asia and Oceania, where understanding local cultures is essential.
- Proven experience entering new direct markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Japan & Indonesia.
- Controlling complex and multi-layered P&L accounts and budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong cultural awareness and excellent communication skills with Spanish and Italian stakeholders (highly preferred).
