Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely preparation of full sets of accounts.
- Prepare and review audit and tax schedules.
- Oversee bi-weekly payment runs and monthly intercompany or 3rd-party billing.
- Handle monthly accruals, prepayments, and other accounting entries.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations and prepare quarterly GST submissions.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for smooth audit processes.
- Collaborate with tax agents and other stakeholders for compliance matters.
- Recommend and implement improvements to internal controls and business processes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain strong accounting practices.
- Undertake any other finance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in F&B or retail.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and GST compliance.
- Proficient in MYOB and Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in handling audits and financial reporting.
