ALG is currently recruiting a dedicated Procurement Executive for our Aerospace MNC Client in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities, ensuring timely and accurate supply of materials and services to support operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
This role is a 2 year contract opportunity.
Job Duties
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to local and overseas suppliers, using both SAP and manual processes as applicable.
- Support MRO/CRO operations by replenishing consumables and ensuring timely calibration of tools and GSE equipment.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, and related documentation.
- Seek approval from Quality and Compliance officers for parts requiring airworthiness certification (FAA/CAAS).
- Track purchase order statuses and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, especially for urgent requirements.
- Update stakeholders on order statuses to keep MRO/CRO projects on schedule.
- Liaise with internal customers regarding procurement needs and order statuses.
- Update ERP systems with incoming material details and ensure accurate processing for finance and distribution.
- Ensure supplies received are promptly processed and delivered to requestors as per purchase requisitions.
- Assist the Procurement Lead and Procurement Manager with other procurement-related tasks as required.
Job Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of purchasing functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or RAMCO.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
- Service-oriented mindset with attention to follow-up and case closure.
- Understanding of international shipping processes.
- Proficiency in SAP and RAMCO applications.
