Learning Designer

Are you passionate about producing experiential learning experiences which make the acquisition of knowledge and skill more efficient, effective, and appealing?

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop pedagogically-sound content of high quality standards
• Demonstrate customer-centric, technological abilities and instructional design (i.e. Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE) capabilities to achieve the learning outcomes
• Creating storyboard, designing and developing assessments to gauge degree of learning
• Working collaboratively in a team for seamless delivery of your end-product
• Communicate with clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on a regular basis. (This does not intimidate you, and in fact, you get a kick out of it!)
• Conduct user training and review, and evaluate effectiveness of the course
• Enjoy challenging yourself to learn new ideas, concepts and topics. Continuous learning is preferably your motto in life!

Requirements:

• Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in related field. (Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or Training Related Specialisation.)
• Good command of the English language
• Strong organisation skills
• Experience in authoring tools is preferred
• Power user of Microsoft Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Meticulous and has a good sense of detail
• Effective communication and a good team-player
• Self-driven and motivated to fulfil tasks within given deadline
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Full-time Junior or Senior positions are available

• Develop learning/training needs analysis, creating a storyboard, designing and developing assessments to gauge degree of learning.
• Working collaboratively in a team for seamless delivery of your end-product

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and create visual assets, including graphics, images, icons, diagrams, and animations, to convey a specific message to the audience.
• Utilize the appropriate designing and authoring tools to prepare and develop graphics, animations, interactive content, interfaces or applications.
• Able to efficiently create track mattes, 3D texture and lighting effects, complex masking and shot tracking. Experience with 3D modelling, 3D low poly, lighting and animation!
• Power user of Adobe Creative suite (Adobe Premiere, Aftereffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), Autodesk 3DS Max, Maya and 3D studio Max.
• Proficient at 2D graphic and 2D animation.
• Provide support with ad-hoc projects or tasks to develop proof of concepts, publicity or marketing materials, video production, troubleshooting, research and development and other related supporting roles within the capabilities of the individual
• Participate in quality assurance testing to ensure multimedia content functions as intended and meets project requirements
• Optimize multimedia elements for various platforms, devices, and screen sizes to ensure consistent performance and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in multimedia design, user experience, and interactivity

Candidate should possess:

• Ability to provide an online reel and portfolio along with resume. Show versatility of video, 2D and 3D skills.
• Power use of editing tools in the Adobe Suite with a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent is an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position.
