About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to manage the procurement and logistics functions for AVTEL Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Selection & Analysis: Evaluate and select suppliers who can deliver high-quality products at competitive prices, conducting supplier preference studies to inform purchasing decisions.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers on lead times, pricing, and quality to secure the best terms for the company. Manage supplier contracts and renegotiate terms as needed to support evolving business requirements.
- Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with cost, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Conduct regular performance reviews, fostering continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies based on market analysis and competitive data. Create and maintain documented supplier and category strategies that align with company objectives.
- Delivery & Compliance: Ensure timely delivery of products by coordinating with suppliers and managing any potential delays. Guarantee that all procurement transactions adhere to commercial, legal, and contractual requirements.
- Cost Management & Continuous Improvement: Implement procurement strategies focused on cost-saving initiatives. Leverage procurement methodologies to secure better pricing and improve sourcing efficiency. Collaborate with vendors to drive quality improvements.
- Inventory & Administrative Management: Oversee goods receipt (GR) processes and stock management to ensure inventory levels align with demand. Handle ad-hoc procurement administrative duties as required.
Who You Are
You are an experienced procurement professional with at least 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. You have a solid understanding of procurement processes and a proven track record in driving supplier performance and cost efficiency. With strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you excel in developing sourcing strategies and fostering supplier relationships. Your communication and negotiation skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders. You’re a proactive team player with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with expertise in supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier performance management, and sourcing strategies. Proficient in procurement software and contract compliance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail, capable of assessing supplier performance and proposing effective solutions.
