Job description
The candidate shall support the Governance & Risk Management department in developing and managing processes and controls to ensure that all activities performed comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
This role encompasses working in a range of specializations that include:
- Risk Management
- Internal Audit
- Business Continuity and Crisis Management
- PDPA
- SOP
- Ad-hoc Projects
Job Responsibilities
Operational Support in Risk Management:
- Advise and support staff in managing potential or actual risk which may arise from client or staff upon notification of incidents via Incident Management System
- Maintain oversight of the Incident Management System by partaking in troubleshooting with vendor and providing guidance to the users
- Lead the process to raise the risk awareness of staff, including educating and training staff on potential risk and the techniques used to mitigate such risk
- Collate and compile monthly incidents from the dashboard for meaningful sharing across the organization
- Maintain and update records and documents as required to make sure they are current, commissioning and tracking updates to policies or other documents as review timescales are reached.
Be the heartbeat of the Governance Community
- Support functional teams and services in the internal audit and projects through regular monitoring, coordination and communication
- Collaborate and communicate successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with other staff members during events and visits to the services
- Support the Data Protection Officer and Sub Data Protection Officers of AWWA in the planning, execution and delivery of personal data protection policies, projects, initiatives and training
- Develop plans to promote data protection awareness in all employees across the organization
Operationalize Organizational Resilience
- Assist to review business continuity plan to ensure sustainability.
- Guide and assist AWWA Services/Programmes in the development/ preparation/documentation of the Business Continuity Plans annually
- Review and update the AWWA Incident and Crisis Management /Business Continuity Plan Framework and Manual on a regular basis
- Ensure that the Crisis Management Team Structure and Call Tree is reviewed and updated on a regular basis
- Support market research on Governance initiatives and proposals.
Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent
- Self-motivated
- A strategic thinker who prioritizes workload
- Good knowledge of MS Office application including Sharepoint.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently or in teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and spoken are essential
- Has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in one of the related fields: Risk Management/Internal Audit/PDPA/Business Continuity/Crisis Management
- Demonstrated aptitude to work with various stakeholders.
- Methodical, thorough, and attentive to details
- Ability to work with different stakeholders within and outside of organization
- Experience of working for a non-profit organization is desirable, but not necessary.
- Willingnss to learn and teach across teams and organization.
