Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance to matters related to safety, health and environment
- Monitor and implement environmental, health & safety management system on site
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices
- Investigate accidents and advise the remedial and preventive measures
- Prepare reports for submission to project managers, client and statutory boards
- Perform ECO duties as required
- Assist Safety Manager with ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Possess a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
- Possess a Specialist Diploma in Civil Engineering and Construction
- Possess a valid registration with IES-ACES as a Earth Control Measures Officer
- Possess a valid registration with NEA as Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
- Candidate with one year WSHO experienced are welcomed but must have minimum 12 years of experience in tunnelling and foundation works
- Strong interpersonal skills with good communication skills
