Position Description

As a Product Manager for Corporate Payables, you will work as a part of a team to successfully deliver the Payables product strategy to APAC clients. Your role will include product development and commercialization, driving revenue growth, cost management, risk management, client solutioning, active engagement with key stakeholders including compliance, operations, tech, legal etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Drive the product development initiatives with technology, operations, and risk partners.Lead the development of the regional strategy and tactics for the vendor payments platform.
  Collaborate with business partners in GTS including Regional and Global Product Management, Technology, Operations, and the Vendor to develop holistic and use cases for ongoing enhancements.
  Review high-level and low-level design documents and ensure traceability to business requirements to validate that all business requirements are met in the most effective and efficient methods.
  Coordinate with Product and Operations to develop appropriate internal and external client communications.
  
• Manage product risk in close coordination with Compliance and risk partners. Ensure product documentation is aligned to the risk framework and participate in risk management forums.
• Active monitoring of regulatory, compliance policy changes and apply guidelines to payment processes and procedures.
• Work closely with sales and solution teams in structuring client solution
• Work closely with global product partners to improve product & service capabilities.
• Analysis of core drivers which include monthly pipeline, implementation, revenue, and volumes to identify key issues impacting the business.
• Gather market intelligence on changing payment landscape. Identify opportunities and debate ideas to ensure bank’s strategy is aligned to market Manage BAU product with product competitor gap analysis, client pricing and P&L analysis and reporting.
• Develop product-training materials and sales tools.

Required skills:

• 7+ years, international treasury management experience with good demonstrable knowledge of payments and clearing related products including product development.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrate initiative, follow-through and the ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to learn quickly, core capabilities including end-to-end operational and technology workflows, processes and key business contacts, client buying behavior by different segments and specific global and regional solutions
• Good at detailed work with strong analytical skills
• Experienced in managing the delivery of services in a matrixed environment with a diverse portfolio of partners and stakeholders
• Ability to work across multiple functional teams, across time zones, to set direction, enable sales activities / initiatives, drive and implement change, and solve problems
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong in Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; able to put together reports and decks
• It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong execution skills and a preparedness to work as part of a team, which may occasionally involve taking on work outside of the above stated responsibilities. This role will likely involve some international travel.

Position Description:

Bank of America’s Social & Environment Group supports the company’s responsible growth strategy by working with lines of business and support functions to embed sustainability into everything we do. As part of the team, the AVP/VP, Philanthropy will help lead the firm’s community investment efforts in Asia Pacific (APAC) ex-India, drive volunteering across the enterprise and support the amplification of our Arts platform.

While the Bank’s multiple award-winning international social and environmental platform is steady state, the AVP/VP, Philanthropy will be required to continuously reassess regional philanthropy strategy to ensure we remain current within the dynamic developmental space. This will require the potential candidate to bring both tactical and strategic innovation to our philanthropic portfolio in terms of enhancing partnerships, looking at innovative capital deployment structures, and opportunities to collaborate with teams across the company, as well as helping to deepen impact measurement process.

The role will also need to function in a cross-collaborative environment working with support teams and lines of businesses across the Bank to cascade and amplify our work among communities, clients, peers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grant Management

o Dynamically manage the Bank’s community investment program in APAC ex-India with a focus on strengthening relationships with existing NGOs and widening partnerships, especially aimed at leveraging blended finance models going beyond traditional philanthropy

o Work closely with local market philanthropy committees providing support/guardrails in terms of alignment with strategy, grant selection, monitoring grant progress etc.

o Directly manage 5-6 regional grants with funds deployed across multiple APAC markets, continuously innovating to include calibrated partnerships cutting across multiple focus areas

o Manage governance frameworks, monitoring and evaluation of grant portfolio with a strong focus on impact measurement

o Work closely with other International philanthropy team members to continue to build on our strong international platform

• Employee Engagement & Volunteering

o Manage employee engagement & volunteerism program for 12 markets

o Manage regional/international employee engagement campaigns while innovating to introduce key signature regional campaigns

• Arts Programme

o Support expansion of Arts & Culture programme across APAC working with other International Arts Leads, as relevant

o Support outreach for the Art Conservation Project (ACP) and expansion of Art of Connecting initiative

• Support the marketing and communications of the Bank’s CSR activities internally and externally.

Key Requirements:

• 5-10 years’ experience working in strategic philanthropy, grant-making and volunteer programme management at multinational company, preferably in the financial services industry
• Understanding of development issues and evolving landscape recognizing the crucial role of strategic philanthropy in supporting sustainable solutions.
• Educational qualification such as Masters in development studies/development economics/development finance/public policy/environment/international relations or development/social work or equivalent preferable
• Excellent written and spoken language skills, with proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
