Job Description:
• Responsible for daily system operations & monitoring, Ensure all required systems services start up successfully, Activate all necessary batch jobs and ensuring successful execution of these jobs.
• Responsible for real-time monitoring of system operation status and network connection status.
• Backup/restore data to / from offline media
• Perform basic systems diagnostics, trouble-shooting and prompt escalation when required.
• Responsible for the 24-hour real-time monitoring of the production and disaster recovery computer room environment.
• Responsible for production and disaster recovery computer room daily check, equipment access and inventory, external personnel release escort, etc.
• Accepting the submission of production event of the branch, manage incidents and problems to resolution, minimizing the impact on business operations, ensuring the timely and effective handling of production events.
• Responsible for the service desk management, dispatch all kinds of service requests submitted by the branch, provide users with level 1 technical support according to the known problem solution manual, and ensure that the service requests are timely and effectively handled.
• To work in accordance to 24/7 shift schedule provided.
• Report daily work to superior truthfully
• Escalate problems to Superior
• Assist in other ad-hoc project as instructed by Company
Job Requirements:
- Working experience in IT operation and maintenance support, familiar with the working environment of financial institutions.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related science and engineering background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT service management.
- Able to communication effectively both written and spoken in English & Chinese with internal/external stakeholders and HQ.
- Ability to work under preasure and proactivity approach problem-solving.
- Ability to work on midnight shift (9 hours).
