Job Description
- Prepare lesson plans/ teaching aids and conduct lessons using a variety of teaching strategies and age-appropriate practices
- Provides a happy, safe and stimulating environment for the children
- Collaborate with Principal and staff in establishing and developing effective pupil assessment procedures and e-portfolios.
- Maintain positive collaborations and communication with parents
- Participate in own professional progression and career development through trainings and Performance Management Cycle
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood
- The candidate should hold a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood or Education or equivalent, which is obtained from a recognised institution
- Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry-based learning is required;
- Certified by ECDA at L2 Level
- Diploma in Montessori Teaching will be an added advantage (Chinese Educator)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word
- Able to work independently and also a team player
- Attend courses, if required
