Job Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements
Review and analyse purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders
Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on outstanding orders
Coordinate invoice/quality discrepancies with vendors
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data into ERP system
Proactively manage supply risks and impact of disruptors on production such as demand fluctuations, component shortages, logistics issues, supplier issues or other
Ensure engineering change notes are managed and executed timely with minimal impact to production
Job Requirements
Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
3+ years of experience in purchasing
Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP system
Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace working environment
