Job Scope and Job Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Seniors in cost management of projects
• Attend onside and consultants' meetings and liaise with clients, architects and other consultants in the administration of projects
• Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting and corresponding with clients
• Understand Client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, budgetary study and project cash flow for the projects
• Measure and take-off quantities for all structural and architectural elements
• Preparation of tender and compilation of contract documents
• Familiar with tendering process and tender evaluation
• Provide cost information and studies on value engineering analysis. Post-contract administration and management - valuation of progress payment, assessment of variation, cost control and financial reports
• Finalization of the final account of the projects
• Contribute to team and project performance by collaboration and effective communication
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• QS working experience preferred, although fresh graduates can apply
• Good technical knowledge - Measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law
• Understand and be familiar with professional practice and contract administration processes
• Able to work as a team player and handle multiple on-going projects/ assignments
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken English
• Work experience gained from consultancy firm preferred

Responsibilities of the Candidate :

1. Cost management of projects

2. Prepare pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, budgetary study and project cash-flow

3. Measure and take-off quantities for all structural and architectural elements

4. Prepare tender documents and compile contract documents

5. Be involved in tendering process and tender evaluation

6. Provide cost information and studies on value engineering analysis

7. Perform post-contract administration and management including valuation of progress payments, assessment of variations, cost control and financial reports

8. Finalisation of Final Accounts of the projects

9. Understand Client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies

10. Represent the Company in a professional and diligent manner

11. Attend on-site and consultant meetings

12. Liaise with clients, architects and other professional consultants in the adminstration of the projects

Qualifications and Experience :

1. Recognised Bachelor's degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
