You will play a pivotal role in providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting future trends, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including but not limited to income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to analysis key data points for improvement & opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and external parties as required.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in all reports.
- Provide insightful commentary on financial results and trends.
Financial Transactions:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, statements, and payments with vendors and customers.
- Maintain records of financial transactions and update the general ledger.
- Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Undertake additional tasks or ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by Management.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, & Microsoft Office tools
