Job Description & Requirements
• Ability to do all the carpentry work, especially making timber door
• Can install all kinds of doors, swing doors, sliding doors, bi-fold doors, double-leaf doors...
• Ability to properly apply paints, paint wooden surfaces, using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers, lacquer, and apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to create special effects.
• Preparing painting surfaces by washing timber doors, frame, repairing holes, or removing old paint. Smooth and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint. Stain, seal, and varnish wood surfaces. Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler.
· Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with construction projects.
