As a Captain will be report to reports to Restaurant Supervisor or General Manager. You will be responsible

for handling food and beverage orders and serving guests

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer service according to procedures and standards.
• Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing of outlet, taking orders, table setting, cleaning outlet etc.)
• To ensure that all pre-opening duties are completed on daily basis.
• Basic cashiering duties.
• To provide service according to procedures and standards established by the F&B department.
• To handle the beverages.
• To be familiar with all items on the menu. In this respect, you must have knowledge of all recipes, drink list, wine list and methods of preparation and preparation time.
• To recommend and promote all items on the menu or specials to guests.
• To take daily inventory including for bar and report any loss or damage.
• To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up.
• To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and deportment at all times.
• To clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness of the area.
• Coordinate with the stewards, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions.
• Maintains the table culture and restaurant ambience at all times.
• To perform other related duties as required by outlet manager.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for providing assistance to the Executive Chef and General Manager of the outlet. You will be ensuring optimum service performance, exceptional guest service and maximum profitability of all functions.

• Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Manages the restaurant team.
• Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant, including inspecting table tops and side stations.
• Enforces high standards of hygiene and sanitation within the outlets.
• Supervises the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance and conduct of service team.
• Helps to implement strategies to continually improve revenues.
• Assists with the development, training and inspiration of outlet staff.
• Manage team to exceed service standards to exceed goals.
• Instils a calm, organized approach in all stressful situations.
• Assists with ordering all necessary office supplies and ensures proper stocking levels.
• Hold employees accountable for performance, and will discipline associates when needed.
• Takes a proactive approach to coaching and counselling
• Other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.

● In charge of the daily mise en place and ordering for the assigned section.

● Carry out given recipes and instructions with precision and speed.

● Ensure strict health and hygiene practices.

● Cleaning, organize and taking care of kitchen equipment as per instruction manuals

● Receiving of stock and stock rotation.

● Monitoring food portion and waste to maintain profit margin.

● Follow grooming standards

● Preparing staff meal on rotational basis

● Adhere to the schedule set by Sous Chef or Head Chef (AM/PM Duty)

● Washing of Prep Jacket and Apron on rotational basis

● In charge of any part time or stagier attached to the station

● Following safety and precautions in all daily activities (carrying heavy load, sharp objects, hot objects etc.)
