Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Member of OE internal Senior Project Management Team (PMT) that meets regularly (chaired by DPD/SOR) to discuss progress and resolve any internal OE issues.
- Overall management and leadership of the multi-disciplinary Resident Site Staff Team, supervision of temporary and permanent construction works to ensure that Contractor’s conform with the Contract Specifications and other obligations under their Contracts.
- Fulfil the statutory role of Qualified Person (Supervision) (QP(S)) under the Building Control Act for all Construction Contracts including all specific obligations and sign-offs.
- Joint Leadership on HSE for the Project along with senior management of NEA, OE and the Contractors, with specific focus on construction safety and environmental controls during construction.
- Work closely with the EDM and other Core Team discipline managers in the Core Team to provide construction related input to the review/approval of design and technical submissions made by the Contractors.
- Review/sign-off (with the necessary inputs from the relevant RSS and Core Team members) of construction related Method Statements and all other site-related documentation required under the construction Contracts.
- Direct liaison with NEA’s Deputy Project Director and Technical Directors as may be required. Direct Liaison with the PUB Detailed Design Consultant’s Construction Manager regarding the interfacing and logistics management between the IWMF and TWRP projects.
- Attendance (if required) at NEA Monthly Project Steering Committee Meetings chaired by NEA DCEO and any other relevant high-level meetings as required by MEWR or NEA
- Organising and chairing regular Progress Meetings with Contractors to review progress (with the assistance of the OE Senior Planner) and performance/quality and to resolve any site related issues including interfacing between IWMF Contractors and other Contractors.
- Review (with the input and support of the relevant RSS and Core team members) and sign-off of Contractor’s Monthly Payment Claims.
- Work closely with and support the Contracts Manager in the assessment of Contractor claims, VO and EOT requests.
- Organising and chairing regular internal RSS team co-ordination meetings as may be required.
- Any other matters that may from time to time be delegated by the DPD/SOR or the PD/SO.
