Job Description

• Required to patrol and guard building to ensure safety and security.
• Observe any suspicious behavior or incidents and report accordingly.
• Perform screening and registration of visitors and guests. (eg. check identification and issue visitor passes)
• Respond promptly to any emergencies, safety breaches and/or security incidents.
• Perform regular checks on security/ surveillance equipment to ensure it is well functioning.

Job Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Valid PLRD license
• Good observational skills and able to handle stressful situations
• Must be physically fit
• Able to work rotating shifts/ work weekends/ 6 day week

Job Title: Lab Technician

Department: O&M (BIOGAS)

Reports to: Operations Director (OD)

Roles & Responsibilities

· Follow OD / Senior Operator's(SO) instructions to assist in the Plant’s Lab analysis

· To ensure smooth daily safe operations of laboratory

· To ensure compliance of SOPs and ISO standards

· Ensure Lab SOPs are valid and updated. To revise procedure (if required)

· Ensure availability of chemicals reagents and laboratory items. To handle procurement

· To Troubleshoot any deviations and resolve any nonconformances of test results.

· To conduct laboratory analysis and due diligence reporting.

· To carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per planned schedule and maintain at scheduled interval.

· To always ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.

· To update the relevant records

· To work harmoniously with colleagues in the same department and other department

· To ensure safe working environment in lab.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the OD/SO and/or Management.

Requirements

· Minimum ITE / Diploma or related discipline

· Minimum 1 years of experience in Biogas / chemical / wastewater plant operations

· Experience in water treatment processes such as UF and RO membrane operation will be an added advantage.

· Able to converse in English and PC literate.

· Able to work independently and as a team.

General Information

The role requires the applicant to ensure a smooth operational process in the Factory and also assist the Operations Team in unloading the daily collected Used Cooking Oil (UCO) physically and to process it for storage.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and Filtering the UCO from IBCs into Storage Tanks
• Ensure Factory is in good state at any point of time
• Conduct Stocktake daily for Inventory
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Physically Fit (Applicant must be able to climb up and down from heights and handle weight of at least 10kg with ease)
• No experience required
• Basic literacy will suffice (Conversational English, understanding Malay / Mandarin is a plus)
• Applicant must be willing to work in Kranji area
