We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Development Representative to support our sales team in promoting and selling professional and managed services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the managed services landscape, and the ability to engage with clients virtually. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the overall success of our sales efforts.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Bluebox, you will be responsible for initiating and qualifying leads enabling us to acquire new customers and expanding our market presence. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can effectively engage with potential clients, identify their needs, and qualify them as viable prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication:
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement to generate leads.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and pain points to determine alignment with our products/services.
- Communicate with potential clients through virtual channels such as email, phone calls, and video conferencing.
- Provide information about our managed and professional services, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Sales Support:
- Collaborate with management to develop effective sales strategies and outreach approaches.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
3. Product and Service Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our managed and professional services offerings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor services to effectively position our service offerings.
4. Lead Generation:
- Identify potential clients through research and lead-generation activities.
- Create a productive sales pipeline.
5. Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule virtual meetings and appointments for the sales team with prospective clients.
- Ensure that the sales team has all the necessary information and resources for client interactions.
6. Follow-Up:
- Follow up with leads and clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and nurture relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the professional or managed services industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong sales acumen.
- Proficient in virtual communication tools and platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
