Corporate Affairs Director (f/m/x)
What awaits you?
- Responsible for communications in 3 levels: Corporate, Brands and Products to develop strong foundations for corporate and brand images, as well as product perceptions, for both BMW and MINI brands.
- Assessment of business processes, the effectiveness of internal controls and applied methods in all business areas of the BMW Group in the region Asia-Pacific.
- Formulate strategy and manage communications for BMW Group communications in alignment with global, regional and local requirements.
- Develop and manage communications on BMW Group competences (e.g. Technology, Design) and product communications relevant to BMW and MINI brands in local context.
- Manage regional / local media events; press conference, product launch, and drive events.
- Conduct media analysis and steer communications to achieve the best results.
- Manage and align communications on technology and innovations in relevant to local requirements and context, e.g. internal combustion engines, full electric, new drivetrain technologies, sustainability topics.
- Able to translate technical / technological terms and jargons into simple layman language and link to customer benefits to cater for broader audiences.
What should you bring along?
- Bachelor’s university degree in Mass Communications or Business.
- Minimum 7-10 years of professional work experience.
- Work experience in different job families and business departments are an advantage.
- Intercultural competence and ability to adapt to intercultural requirements.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially presentation and facilitation skills.
- Willingness and ability to provide support wherever necessary to ensure success of projects and events.
- An ability to communicate effectively and work productively with people at all levels.
- Willingness to travel when required
