About the role

The incumbent will directly report to a Hub Manager with the key objective of providing customer-focused solutions in support of operational objectives and business development strategies. The incumbent will also indirectly report to the Operational Excellence team, which governs the framework and methodology of continuous improvement projects.

What you will be doing

• Leverage on lean principles to increase operational performance and optimise warehouse resources, creating value for internal and external stakeholders
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects within the warehouse, from process gap identification to solution design and implementation, as well as operational change management
• Support the Operations Manager in the monitoring and analysis of performance data such as KPI and productivity reports, as well as financial data such as billing reports and account P&L
• Partner with the Key Account Manager in business development efforts through maintenance of customer satisfaction and solutioning of value creation opportunities
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from the Innovation, Automation, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) team to implement new technology or fine-tune existing solutions within the warehouse
• Contribute to the Operational Excellence (OpEx) community by sharing knowledge of best practices and new solutions, and participating in technical trainings and focus group workshops
• Support the OpEx core team in OpEx-led events and group collaterals

The successful candidate

• Degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain Management
• Project management and change management
• Strong in data crunching, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge in lean, six sigma, 5S, WMS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, SQL
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Business Finance Manager, this role will provide meaningful analysis and spell out the business impact to the Asia Pacific Regional Management team, work closely with the Business Intelligence and Operational Control team, and coordinate with different functions to improve existing processes.

What you will be doing

• Provide Regional management with business analysis for decision making process (key accounts, activity trends, trade lane analysis, operational purchases analysis, ad-hoc reporting)

• Coordinate with entity management and various regional teams (finance, operational controller and BI) to ensure timely and accurate submissions (flash activity, ad-hoc reporting)

• Take part in and improve the budgeting process

• Assist entities in improving their business analysis communication and reporting

• Assist regional management team to monitor follow-up actions / implementation plans with various stakeholders

• Take part in financial consolidation process

• Generate monthly reports of P&L by department for Regional Singapore office

• Create PowerBI reports or dashboard for management

• Assist other ad-hoc projects on financial reporting, credit control or accounting process as needed

The successful candidate

Essential

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accountancy

• Meticulous with strong analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong excel skill with the ability to handle large data set with complex formula

• Good grasp of Microsoft Office suite, VBA, MS Visio

Desirable

• Knowledge of Cognos, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Tableau, Oracle Smart View, Cargowise is a plus
