About the role
Reporting to the Regional Business Finance Manager, this role will provide meaningful analysis and spell out the business impact to the Asia Pacific Regional Management team, work closely with the Business Intelligence and Operational Control team, and coordinate with different functions to improve existing processes.
What you will be doing
• Provide Regional management with business analysis for decision making process (key accounts, activity trends, trade lane analysis, operational purchases analysis, ad-hoc reporting)
• Coordinate with entity management and various regional teams (finance, operational controller and BI) to ensure timely and accurate submissions (flash activity, ad-hoc reporting)
• Take part in and improve the budgeting process
• Assist entities in improving their business analysis communication and reporting
• Assist regional management team to monitor follow-up actions / implementation plans with various stakeholders
• Take part in financial consolidation process
• Generate monthly reports of P&L by department for Regional Singapore office
• Create PowerBI reports or dashboard for management
• Assist other ad-hoc projects on financial reporting, credit control or accounting process as needed
The successful candidate
Essential
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accountancy
• Meticulous with strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong excel skill with the ability to handle large data set with complex formula
• Good grasp of Microsoft Office suite, VBA, MS Visio
Desirable
• Knowledge of Cognos, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Tableau, Oracle Smart View, Cargowise is a plus
