Job Purpose

Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for the case management of residential boys.

Responsibilities

• Case management and counselling of boys admitted under Child Protection Orders, Probation Orders, Family Guidance Orders MSF-referred cases and Compassionate Ground cases.
• Carry out admission procedures for boys admitted to Boys’ Town, which includes handling intake interviews and liaising with stakeholders working with the boys prior to admission.
• Conduct assessment of identified needs through assessment tools such as Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) and Youth Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (YLS/CMI).
• Conduct sessions for the residents of Boys’ Town and their parents/caregivers according to their identified needs.
• Develop an Individualised Care Plan (ICP) for all residents admitted. As part of this ICP, you will be required to work closely with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic care for the residents.
• Initiate and lead internal case reviews with the support of your clinical supervisor and Social Work Lead. Ensure that a periodic assessment of our residents’ progress in Boys’ Town is conducted.
• Provide timely reports on case progress to the Social Work Lead in and bring up cases for supervision accordingly. To undergo supervision with assigned supervisor monthly.
• Keep timely case records and ensure proper documentation of residents’ personal information and reports. (e.g., Case notes, court reports, review reports, ICP, etc). Ensure the licensing audit requirements are met in the case management domain as advised by Head of Home.
• Represent the residents and Boys’ Town professionally in various platforms such as Court Hearings, MSF Reviews, School conferences, etc with the support of clinical supervisor.
• Conduct psychoeducational and therapeutic group work programmes as advised by Social Work Lead and/ or Head of Home.
• Liaise with Education Officers and schools which the residents are studying in and keep them informed of admission, discharge, and absence of the residents from any school programmes, as well as coming up with their education care plan.
• Work in collaboration with the Residential Services Leads, operations team and Education Officers in monitoring the progress of the residents, through the sharing of case related issues and intervention plans.
• Liaise with external agencies e.g., Child Protection Officers, Probation Officers, Social Workers, Family Service Centres, Police for case management purposes and to support the case plans for the residents.

Job Purpose

To effectively manage cases receiving respite care services and support programmes/events of Sanctuary Care and the agency.

Responsibilities

· To conduct intake assessments on the suitability of case referrals for Sanctuary Care.

· To conduct regular home visits and support placement to ensure the placement can safeguard and promote the child’s safety, stability, and well-being.

· To assess how the respite child is doing in respite care and the respite carer’s capability to meet the child’s needs.

· To identify at-risk situations and develop strategies and intervention plans to address child safety issues and well-being.

Job Purpose

MANAGERIAL

· Report to and provide regulare feedback to the Assistant Director (Corporate Services) of Boys' Town.

· Coach, counsel, and discipline and guide HR team members, interns and temp staff.

REQUIREMENTS

· At least a Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience and 3 years in the capacity of a Senior HR Executive, preferably in non-profit sector.

· At least 3 years of direct payroll processing.

· Experienced in managing and leading HR team members.

· Good understanding of the Employment, CPF, Employment of Foreign Manpower, Retirement & Re-Employment, WICA, Workplace Safety and Health Act.

· Have an eye for details.

· Good in record keeping (filing/documentation etc.).

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

· Proficient in HRIS and MS Office suite (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)

Job Purpose

To provide close supervision and accountability of residents, ensuring the residents’ well-being is taken care of during the day-to-day interactions.

Job Responsibilities

• To be attentive and look into the well-being of residents by being available and to be accountable for the residents’ whereabouts when on duty.

Purpose

To effectively manage cases receiving foster care services and provide social workers with professional supervision in case management and group work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessment and prepare Foster Parent Assessment Reports, presenting findings at the panel and following up on decisions and recommendations

• Supervise and support foster placement so as to prevent breakdowns in existing care arrangements

• Conduct visits to ensure that the placement is able to safeguard and promote the safety, stability and well-being of the child

• Spearhead case movement through team meetings, monthly case review sessions, COF, CART reviews etc

• Identify at-risk situations and develop strategies and intervention plan to address child safety issues, and well-being

• Provide a 24-hour hotline for foster parents per duty schedule and ensure that the team follows up on outcomes

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of case management and other support programmes and activities extended to foster families

• Assess case progress and programme outcome and effectiveness

• Ensure, support and monitor SOPs and participate in audit processes

• Lead and facilitate meetings and case conferences

• Look into best practices and implement them within the department

• Provide guidance and supervision for social workers and case workers

• Conduct regular case discussions with social workers and supervise their case management

• Monitor caseloads and performance of social workers

• Cover for Head/Fostering Services whenever necessary

The role of the Community Partnerships Executive is to maintain and develop successful partnerships with corporate and individual supporters, specifically through donations, sponsorship, fundraising and events. A major part of this role is to manage records and data on corporate and individual benefactors such as donors and volunteers effectively and identify and recruit high-value relationships with key corporate funders to support Boys’ Town’s major events and campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Community Partnerships Manager in securing sponsorship and donations for Boys’ Town’s major fundraising events/ campaigns.
• Develop strong pitches, grant writing and researching potential sponsors/ donors for donor outreach.
• Design and deliver a series of fundraising events and manage existing annual initiatives, such as Flag Day, Charity Movie and fundraising appeals.
• Adhere to fundraising policies, procedures and legal requirements, including report submission to government agencies, administering general correspondence, ensuring prompt. acknowledgment letters are sent, and keeping accurate records of fundraising activities.
• Monitor income and expenditure budget for fundraising activities and ensure that it is in line with the department’s business plan and fundraising strategy.
• Maintain and develop the existing portfolio of corporate and volunteer relationships.
• Provide strong account management to maximize income for Boys’ Town.
• Secure retention of corporate supporters and grant-makers, through consistent outreach.
• Promote all Boys’ Town fundraising and volunteering activities to relevant corporate partners.
• Coordinate volunteering needs within Boys’ Town and provide matching for volunteer opportunities with partners.
• Act as an ambassador for Boys’ Town, representing the organization at external events, including a variety of networking events, cheque presentations and talks.
• Support the Community Partnerships Manager in communications activities, including hosting guests, writing press releases and factsheets, and attending relevant events.
• Lead fundraising or partnerships-related activities or events, as assigned by the Director/ Manager.
• Be familiar with the utilization of CRM software tools (Salesforce) for fundraising and volunteer management to generate relevant reports for the management.
• Any other duties reasonably assigned by the Director/ Manager.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business/ Social Sciences/Arts or other relevant qualifications.
• Preferably 1 year or more experience in the social service sector, particularly in fundraising/ partnership roles.
