Job Description: We are seeking a passionate Fund Raising and Project Asst. Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in helping us raise funds to support our mission of providing resources and support for individuals and families affected by brain tumour. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, managing projects, and building relationships with donors and sponsors to support our mission. This role offers a competitive base salary with an attractive commission structure based on fundraising performance
Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all BTSS social media platforms, website and public communication, for example BTSS Newsletter.
- Nurture and maintain relations with strategic partners (sponsors, government, media, healthcare institutions, other charities and welfare organizations etc - local and international) by setting-up meetings, following-up and seeing through to agreements and implementation with relevant counter parties.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to generate revenue for BTSS
- Plan and execute all BTSS awareness and fundraising events, communication campaigns and initiatives such as flag days, charity movie screenings, gala dinners etc .
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
- Oversee grant proposals and applications to secure funding from organizations like the President’s Challenge and Tote Board.
- Track and analyse fundraising data, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical fundraising standards.
- Work closely with EXCO Members to align external communications and fundraising efforts with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Support BTSS programmes’ budgeting and expenditure.
- Support any other tasks and assignments requested by BTSS EXCO which has been endorsed by BTSS President
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, event or project management, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for social causes and commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by brain tumours.
