We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement & Partner Manager to oversee procurement processes and manage strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will take ownership of procurement and vendor management for our managed services business. This role requires someone who can streamline procurement, negotiate favourable contracts, and build strong partnerships to support our mission of helping our clients leverage technology without deep in-house IT expertise.
Responsibilities:
Vendor and Partner Relations:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers and technology partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.
Procurement:
- Lead the end-to-end procurement processes and activities of sourcing, evaluation, contract management and purchase order issuance for hardware, software and services
- Ensure cost-effective procurement practices while maintaining product quality.
- Maintain the procurement process, workflows and policies, ensuring relevance to the business and alignment to the company’s objectives.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and track all purchases.
Cost and Budget Management:
- Analyse procurement data to find cost savings opportunities.
- Work with finance to manage procurement budgets and forecast spending.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that procurement policies align with company and regulatory requirements.
- Mitigate procurement-related risks through robust risk management processes.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure procurement aligns with company goals.
- Work with the finance team on budgeting and procurement planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
- Experiences 5+ years in procurement and partner management. Experience working in IT or managed services environments is a plus. Proven experience in vendor relationship management and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with procurement and partnership processes. Understanding of IT products, services, and supply chains.
- Experience with managed services procurement (endpoint, cloud, infrastructure).
