The incumbent will lead the AP and AR teams in Singapore, focusing on proper accounting and reconciliation. They will harmonize processes, enhance effectiveness and efficiency through system implementation and process improvement projects, while ensuring compliance. They will also ensure local compliance with GST and other statutory requirements, oversee inter-company transactions, and assist overseas finance organizations in harmonizing and streamlining processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the AP and AR teams in Singapore
• Ensure timely processing and recording of all financial transactions
• Ensure organisation policies and procedures are properly communicated, understood and complied with
• Harmonize processes within the respective teams
• Improve process effectiveness and efficiency
• Responsible for local compliance to GST and other relevant statutory requirements
• Ensure inter-company transactions with/within Singapore are properly accounted for and reconciled
• Be involved in systems implementation projects to plan resources and fine-tune/re-design processes for greater efficiency and improve compliance to policies and procedures
• Support the cash planning and management process by providing actual and forecast payment and receipts
• Support overseas Finance organisations in harmonizing and rationalizing processes
• Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years relevant experience in a senior level corporate role within Finance, and strategies preferably in the shared services environment
• Degree in Finance or Accountancy / ACCA
• Exposure in FMCG would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Numerical and meticulous
• Energy and desire to succeed, pushes self and others to deliver exceptional results

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on on accounts payable and and accounts receivable transactions processing.
• Documentation of processes and participate in process improvement.
• Participate in ERP system implementagtion and process documentation.
• Other ad-hoc projects when the opportunity arises.
