Job Description: We are sniffing for great people who understand dogs and people, and are on a quest to sharpen their skills and knowledge in dog handling and care. As a Pet Care Pack Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the highest level of care for our pet guests. This is your chance to interact with various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management: Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Animal Care: Oversee the health and welfare of all animals, including engaging them in play, walking, meal management, showering, and cleaning up after them.
- Client Relations: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory of pet supplies, grooming products, and other necessary materials.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High energy, a positive attitude, and high integrity.
- Ready to handle various scenarios arising from pet guests’ needs and anxieties.
- Good situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Always on the lookout for opportunities to lend a helping hand to colleagues and groomers.
- Respect and maintain our high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety and hygiene.
- Ability to "speak" dog and human.
- Knowledge in dog care and handling; training will be provided.
- Some pet grooming experience preferred.
