Day to day activities of iron ore and coal trading in both physical and paper
Negotiate and conclude market transaction on a spot/term basis
Track and monitor world iron ore and coal market movements
Follow up and monitor operations
Establish and maintain relationships with all major iron ore and coal trading companies
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree is any field
At least 10 years’ relevant experience in iron ore and coal trading business. To be familiar with Chinese domestic commodity trading.
At least 3 years’ experience in derivative trading and hedging of iron ore and coal.
At least 5 years’ experience in iron ore blending, must know the different blending matrix and techniques and must have been in a senior manager role or equivalent in a blending plant.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Ability to communicate in fluent English and Chinese
Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a strategic mind
Meticulous with good communication and presentation skill
An effective team player who is innovative and forward thinking
