We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Asia Talent Attraction team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of well-rounded recruitment experience, including some blue-collar hiring for operations, production, and technician roles. Proficiency in Bahasa Malay is essential, as the role will heavily support recruitment for our Greenfield manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for Corporate (office-based) as well as Blue-Collar (factory-based) positions
- Work directly with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates, conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Prepare & issue offer letters; provide a positive candidate experience, from initial contact through to onboarding.
- Maintain data integrity on Workday.
- Coordinate with HR teams across the region to ensure seamless communication and alignment on hiring needs.
- Travel to Johor Bahru for onsite recruitment activities, including interviews, job fairs, and other recruitment events.
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations during the recruitment process.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience within any Manufacturing industry – Agency recruiters looking to move in-house are welcome to apply
- Must be fully comfortable with both white & blue-collar recruitment at all levels of experience.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malay is essential to manage the interviewing & recruitment of non-English speaking talent in Malaysia.
- Willingness to travel to Johor Bahru as part of the role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Workday experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
