Job Description
- Expertly welds small, medium, and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys.
- Solders and brazes of copper pipe.
- Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.
- Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.
- Responsible for performing fusion welding operations on High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and fittings.
- Welding damaged and broken pipes
Requirement
1. Proven work experience as Pipe welder, HDPE Welder, Pipe Fitter or similar role in the Pipe Jacking Construction Company.
2. Knowledge of welding equipment and techniques
3. Understanding of the health and safety protocol
4. Having a keen eye for details
5. Familiarity with welding and hand tools such as chipping hammer, torch, grinders and buffers
6. Able to work independently
