The Position

• Core responsibility is to ensure the smoothness of daily closing tasks:
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations,
• Crypto exchange hedging, reconciliations, and trade accounting,
• Preparing payments and liaise with bank relationship managers when required,
• Ensure that trade AP and AR positions are fully understood and reconciled and issue the daily financial closing report.

Based on learning curve, other responsibilities will follow:

• AP and AR bookings and review (Xero),
• Attending to customer enquiries related to payments,
• Conducting general know your customer due diligence,
• Contribution to GST process,
• Other accounting and reporting duties as assigned by managers.

The Position

• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Guide and assist customers in our bullion shop
• Test the authenticity of precious metals
• Assist in driving, developing and improving BullionStar’s customer care program

The job location is BullionStar's bullion shop, showroom and vault at 45 New Bridge Road. This bustling location is located in between Chinatown and Clarke Quay with the Clarke Quay MRT located just across the road making commuting easy.

5-day work week, 1 Saturday inclusive.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary is SGD 2,700 - SGD 4,000 depending on your knowledge, competence, experience and skills plus one month's bonus, reimbursement of medical bills and access to an employee health and fitness benefit program.

The full stack developer role will have the following responsibilities:

Software Engineering/Programming

- Implement main website front-end using HTML5, jQuery, SASS/SCSS and Node.js.

- Design and develop back-end systems in our e-commerce platform (Java).

Skills and Characteristics

- Self-motivated: You are expected to manage the different priorities of tasks assigned to you and manage your own time.

- Responsible: You are expected take responsibility together with the rest of the development team to develop and manage our software solutions long-term.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Excellent competence in JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, Java, Spring and MySQL (or any relational database) is required. Competence is more important than working experience. A candidate would typically have a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience but exceptions can be made for outstanding candidates.

- Experience developing web and stand-alone applications in Spring technologies such as: Spring Boot, Spring REST.

This is a permanent full time position. The job location is at BullionStar's headquarter at 45 New Bridge Road.

The salary is dependent on your capability, experience and skills. The typical starting salary is from SGD 5,000 to SGD 5,500 per month plus up to four month's bonus salary with a minimum bonus salary of one month. Senior Accounts Executive – AP/AR/Treasury/GST

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time senior accounting executive to join our growing Finance team! As an accounts officer in our company, you will work in a small team covering all sides of accounting and treasury. The Position

• Core responsibility is to ensure the smoothness of daily closing tasks:
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations,
• Crypto exchange hedging, reconciliations, and trade accounting,
• Preparing payments and liaise with bank relationship managers when required,
• Ensure that trade AP and AR positions are fully understood and reconciled and issue the daily financial closing report.

Quickly, other responsibilities will follow:

• AP and AR bookings and review (Xero),
• Attending to customer enquiries related to payments,
• Conducting general know your customer due diligence,
• Contribution to GST process,
• Other accounting and reporting duties as assigned by managers.

After the integration period and when all above aspects are mastered you will be involved in adhoc finance, treasury and accounting projects impacting the team and cross-functional processes.
