Job Scope:

Creative and skilled Communications and Design Lead for a period of 7 months from Jan to Jul 2025. This role will be responsible for designing and managing our visual communications, social media presence, and event publicity, focusing on the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF).

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

• Create visually appealing event collaterals using our SYF graphics and brand guidelines
• Design promotional materials for various SYF platforms (Arts Presentation, Art Exhibition, Celebrations), including print and digital media

1. Social Media Management
   • Manage and maintain the social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
   • Create engaging content and implement social media strategies to increase audience engagement
   • Monitor social media trends and adapt our approach accordingly
2. Publicity and Communications
   • Develop and execute communication plans for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and other events for our internal and external stakeholders
   • Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, and website updates
3. General Communications Support
   • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
   • Collaborate with other teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms

Requirements:

• Diploma in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Canva to create high-quality visual content
• Strong digital visual design skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in social media management and content creation
• Able to work well independently and in teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
