Job Duties:
- Design driven with experience in show flat, residential and/or hospitality projects
- Ability to resolve technical issues in line with the project's design intent
- Creative thinking to develop new ideas, space planning, design development, and produce construction drawing for fabrication.
- Manage budget and deadlines on agile projects

Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture/Interior Design
- Proficiency in Autocad, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop and MS Powerpoint.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation

• Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting

• Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction

• Provide design support, client liaison and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts

• Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators

Requirements

• Interior Design or related field from an accredited school

• Interior design experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Sketch Up

• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, colour selections, and specifications

• Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, hr lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays]

Supporting in MOE’s Student Development Curriculum Division 1 with the following work.

• Strong illustration skills, including the ability to create original illustrations and visual concepts.

• Design and develop interactive resources (motion graphics, 2D animations and video), which including storyboarding, project management

• Good understanding of design principles, typography and colour theory to conceptualise and produce resources (infographics, PowerPoint slides, curriculum resources etc)

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva etc

• Be proactive, able to multitask and work independently.

Minimum diploma or equivalent in an area of study related to media/graphic design.

At least 1 year of experience working as a Graphic Designer or its equivalent.

Graphic Designer-01 March 2024 to 31 January 2025-11 months

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

· Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, 1hr lunch break

Personnel will be supporting the Character and Citizenship Education Branch (CCEB) in MOE’s Student Development Curriculum Division 1 with the following work.

· Pre-production Work: Assist in conceptualising of media/graphic design/web and digital graphics & illustrations (i.e., infographics, interactives)

· Production: Development of infographics, interactives

· Post-production: Assist in media editing for infographics, interactives, videos and animation, including sound and background music.

· Administrative support (e.g., managing media inventories and related databases)

· Be proactive and able to work independently.

Minimum diploma or equivalent in an area of study related to media/graphic design.

Prior work experience is preferred.
