- Perform rigorous quality checks and controls to ensure food products are safe and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Testing food samples in both Chemistry and Microbiology
- Work closely with team members and suppliers including QA, FoodTech, Engineers and relevant teams to enhance product quality and safety.
- Conduct sampling, food audits and inspection at suppliers’ sites according to company guidelines and checklists.
- Prepare reports and follow up on action plans arising from audits or inspections.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and scientific advancements in food technology and nutrition.
- Evaluate and verify product compliance against set specifications, including nutritional content, appearance, taste, texture, odor, colour standards etc.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Nutrition, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of food and laboratory testing, including Chemistry and Microbiology.
- Knowledge of Halal, Kosher, HACCP, FSSC, and ISO procedures is an advantage.
- Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, vendors, and potentially clients.
Other Information:
- This is a contract position for up to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
