About the team

As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets. Through our carefully designed rotation program, you'll witness how high-quality data is meticulously crafted and used. After completing your rotation, you will have the chance to select your area of expertise. This will be your stepping stone to lead, train, or oversee larger data operation projects.

Your Role Will Involve:

1. Lead multiple data labeling projects simultaneously, ensuring cross-functional alignment to establish advanced data standards and optimized workflows. This involves assembling specialized taskforces, coordinating milestones, and driving agile progress management. Additionally, assess requirement feasibility, design tailored project management strategies and SOPs, and support continuous operational improvements to effectively meet diverse needs.

2. Gain hands-on experience in data production, including drafting, revising, and data acceptance evaluation, while developing specialized skills across different data formats and content verticals to independently deliver high-quality data. Team Introduction

The tax system team in Tiktok helps various tax functions on tax automation and process optimization. We aim to work with the Tax Product R&D team to design and develop tax automation solutions to compile, process and deliver data in a more efficient manner, streamline the cross-functional tax process to ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide more visibility to the decision makers through data pooling and analytics.

Responsibilities

1. Acting as the APAC region contact point of the tax system team and responsible for undertaking system requirements feasibility analysis, drafting system requirement reports according to the needs and pain points of the respective tax teams in this region, assisting in building up international tax management framework for Bytedance group.

2. Closely coordinate with various system teams and stakeholders to help roll the tax system design, development, implementation and optimization progress smoothly.

3. Identify process loopholes and root causes, and design improvement plans based on current tax process analysis and historical data analysis.

4. Responsible for day-to-day communications with the respective tax teams in APAC region, including problem shooting, training and data processing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Internal Audit is a global function responsible for providing independent assurance and evaluating the company's risk management, governance and internal control processes to determine if they are designed and operating effectively. The Internal Audit team plans and executes audit projects according to our risk-based audit plan by evaluating financial, compliance, operational, and IT processes and controls. We work with business functions in addressing risks and improving the control environment through timely and comprehensive audit work and tracking of remediation actions until completion. Responsibilities

- Data Inventory: Understand and identify an inventory of applications, databases, and data warehouses across ByteDance.

About the team

As a core member of our LLM Global Data Team, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Gain first-hand experience in understanding the intricacies of training Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse data sets, and become a leader building and growing a vibrant team together with us!

Your Role Will Involve:

1. Work closely with LLM core teams to devise a red-team strategy for LLM and manage internal red-teaming operations.

2. Coordinate resources across T&S, Data, and product teams to execute red-team tests and generate comprehensive reports, which include, but are not limited to, vulnerability assessments.

3. Work with internal researchers and external experts on monitoring the latest developments and industry best practices on red-teaming and advise on the long term strategy.

4. Lead research on novel issues related to privacy and also broader questions of fairness, accountability, and transparency related to LLMs.

5. Set the research directions and strategies to make our AI systems safer, more aligned and more robust.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Solid understanding of key risks previously facing ByteDance corporate and products. (Or) extensive experience in LLM (Large Language Models) red-teaming or in red-teaming for other content/products.

2. A minimum of four years of work experience, with required skills in LLM Adversarial attacks or Jail-breaking methods.

3. A team player who knows how to assert influence appropriately. Excellent coordination and persuasion skills are crucial for success in this role.
