What you will be doing:
- The Assistant Director / Senior Manager has overall responsibility for managing the administration and operations of the Town Council
- One of the key officers for the Town Council, as prescribed under the Town Council Act
- Leads a team to administer and manage the affairs of the Town Council efficiently and effectively
- Plays a critical role enabling the town council to execute and implement policies, projects and initiatives to enhance the living environment and the quality of life in the public housing estates of the Town
- Overseeing the team to ensure delivery of services according to contract specifications.
- To achieve financial targets set by C&W
- To maintain customer relations and to ensure targets set by the Town Council
- To assist the team to grow township business.
You are:
- Bachelor Degree in Facilities Management or relevant Business Degree
- At least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity in managing team, stakeholder engagement, operations of Township
- Township / Grassroot Experience i.e. liaising with MP, Grassroot leaders, Residents etc will be an added advantage
- Good Knowledge of accounting, contracts administration, legislations and statutory requirements with regards to township properties.
