Responsibility
- To supervise the construction works in accordance to the project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Acts and Regulations
- To inspect the works to ensure that work is carried out in accordance to the Qualified Person (QP) instruction
- To keep proper site inspection records and accurate records of site progress
- Check drawings and specifications for discrepancies and highlight to QP and Contractor, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
- Review contractor’s method statements, highlight discrepancies and inspect works on site to ensure contractor execute works in accordance to approved method statement
- Enforce quality control on site and monitor site safety
- Attend site meeting and coordinate with QP and Contractor with site inspections
- Prepare and submit daily site activities report, and monthly progress report
- Present during all critical structural works such as concreting, fixing of reinforcement, installation and removal of temporary support
Requirement
- Degree in Civil Engineering, National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS) or diploma
- Registered with IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer
- At least 5 years relevant site experience in residential / improvement works.
- Experience in HDB's works, LTA projects is a strong advantage
