[What the role is]
CAAS’ Management Associate Programme (MAP) is a programme designed to groom talent from the outset of their CAAS career to build up core aviation capabilities, to becoming future leaders of CAAS. Through the MAP, you will gain the skills and confidence to navigate a fulfilling career in the public sector and contribute to the development of Singapore’s air hub and aviation industry. Successful candidates will join CAAS on a 3-year contract and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure, to join one of the divisions in CAAS to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in a specific area of support for the aviation sector.
[What you will be working on]
Programme Features
Acquire hands-on experience through on-the-job training: As a young officer on the MAP, you will undergo a suite of specially curated programme for you to learn the requisite skills to be competent in your area of work. This will help to build a strong foundation for your career in CAAS.
Develop core aviation capabilities: During the early years of your career, you will be put through a structured rotation across at least two functional clusters in CAAS to amass your critical foundation aviation knowledge. This exposure will give you valuable insights and broaden your understanding of CAAS’ work.
Participate in impactful and meaningful projects: You will take part in CAAS-level projects to broaden your exposure to different areas of aviation work and hone your leadership skills, and gain the opportunity to work with talented individuals across different teams and divisions.
Build connections and networks to learn from the leaders and experts in the field: You will be assigned mentors to provide advice and guidance for your career in CAAS, and have the exposure to senior leaders of CAAS, CAAS Board, and the industry leaders.
[What we are looking for]
Programme Eligibility
a. Singaporeans in the final year of study, or with less than 2 years of work experience
b. Academic qualification(s) in any discipline, except Dentistry and Medicine;
c. Outstanding CCA / leadership track records.
