Job Purpose
Accountable and responsible for all Health, Safety and Environment aspect of designate site as assigned. The incumbent will be responsible in the implementation of OHSAS180001, reportable metrics such as MBR, MiFa etc as well as promote safety culture in the Company.
Responsibilities
- Perform periodic HSE audit, risk identification and provide regular update to management on key HSE performance indicators and execution of measures to close identified HSE gaps
- Address all HSE issues directly with the appropriate actions including new hires induction, HSE policies, Department objectives, and other related information
- Attend and manage internal and external stakeholders’ enquiries, complaints, and feedback on HSE matters with regards to ASM Operations
- Conduct incident investigation and reporting, including coordination with relevant external stakeholders, ie Government agencies (MOM, SCDF)
- Develop and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manuals and relevant documentations that are in conformance with relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best industry practices, including OHSAS18001/ISO 45001
- Work closely with the customer’s and CEVA Operations teams to plan and implement commonly agreed HSE plans, including best practices
- Develop various HSE focused programs to continuously improve employee and contractors' general awareness
- Plan & conduct HSE related training for employees
Requirements
- Degree or Specialist Diploma in WSH with at least 5 years of related experience
- Registered workplace safety and health officer
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health Act and its regulation
- Knowledge of QHSAS18001 Management System and HSE Auditing skill
- Proficient in MS Office
- Computer literate and familiar with common software application in the market
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills with effective interpersonal and people management skills
