We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to take on the role of General Manager & Sales Director for our Maritime client in Singapore. This pivotal position combines strategic leadership of Maritime’s regional operations with hands-on responsibility for driving lifecycle sales and delivering exceptional customer service across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Maritime’s operations in Singapore and Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with global objectives while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and regional business growth.
- Develop and implement tailored lifecycle sales strategies to address market needs, focusing on new installations, aftermarket growth, and long-term service agreements to support sustainable success.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders across the region, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty throughout the lifecycle of Maritime’s products.
- Lead and mentor the regional sales and service teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that delivers ambitious sales targets, exceptional service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, customer dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Represent as a trusted ambassador in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region, reinforcing the company’s reputation for quality, reliability, and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with contracting standards, financial controls, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) regulations, upholding ethical business practices and supporting sustainable growth.
Requirements:
- An accomplished leader with a proven track record in both sales and operational management, must be within the maritime or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience in lifecycle sales and aftermarket services
- A strong understanding of the Singaporean and Southeast Asia markets, you bring strategic insight, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex market dynamics to drive sustainable growth.
- Strong understanding of the maritime supply chain, vessel management, port operations, and shipping regulations.
