Role overview:

As a lead Spring Java Microservices Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable microservices-based even-driven applications using Java, Spring Framework (Spring boot) and Kafka. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy event-driven microservices application using Java, spring boot, docker, and deploy in Kubernetes.
• Configuring Gitlab CI/CD pipeline for building docker images and deploying into Kubernetes cluster
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Ensure code quality through JUnit testing, integration testing, automated Cucumber BDD testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain to automate CI/CD deployment pipeline script and monitoring processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development practices.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
