Job Description
Patient Care
- Register patients in the CMS (clinic management system) after verifying the eligibility with government and corporate benefits.
- Updating TPA benefits in CMS to ease post consult and payment process.
- Assist the Doctor in minor surgical procedures
- Perform minor procedures (e.g. ECG) and taking of patient’s vitals and to update in the CMS
- Ensure that right medication, right dosing, right quantity and right administrative route is dispensed accurately to the right patient and explained to the patient meticulously.
- Ensure that proper collection from each patient after considering Govt schemes/ Corporate benefits. Also, ensure opening balance of float cash is accurate
- Assist patients in making follow up appointments and scheduling of visits
Clinic Care
- Ensure that the clinic is in working order prior to start of clinic shift
- Top up consumables in Doctor's/treatment room
- Washing of medical devices and equipment’s and performing sterilization (eg. autoclave)
- Follow up on administrative tasks, scanning and sending of documents (referrals, labs, radiology) into the patient files. Also, tracking and releasing of patient reports
- Perform administrative duties such as daily fridge temperature recording, sharp box disposal etc.
- General housekeeping of the clinic to keep the place a safe and inviting place.
- Closing of shift, including tallying of daily takings against payment mode
- Ensure all medical devices are in working order daily and alert the Clinical Director for maintainence.
Inventory and other Administrative tasks
- Perform timely claims (e.g. HSG, CHAS, Medisave, TPA)
- Liaise with vendors (e.g. laboratory and radiology) for collection of samples and receiving of reports.
- Manage rosters for Clinic Executives and locum Doctors
- Attending to inbound enquiries from patients via various channels (WhatsApp, phone, e-mails)
- Ensure good practices are implemented for inventory management and conduct periodic inventory reconciliation
- Support the Clinic Director with reports on operations
- Candidates with more years of relevant experience will be considered in Supervisory role
