Job Description:

• Configure physical network devices during capacity buildouts
• Set up automated monitoring of physical network devices
• Set up automated alerting based on monitoring for physical network devices
• Write automation scripts to safely update the configuration of physical network devices
• Cut tickets to Data Centre operations for a variety of tasks: check cable, replace a line card, replace a faulty device, decommission a device, etc
• Update the firmware (operating system) of physical network devices
• Maintain the logical access security for physical network devices
• Responds to live site incidents involving physical network devices
• Provide evidence to auditors on the logical security of physical network devices

Skill sets:

• Preferably 3 years or more of Networking Engineering experience
• Experience troubleshooting across a variety of networking platforms including
• Experience in creating user's account and mailboxes on AD and Exchange.
• Good knowledge on antivirus management e.g. Windows Defender, Symantec, McAfee.
• Good knowledge on repair PCs and notebooks such as O/S and Office Application troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge in diagnostic of hardware issues on PCs and notebooks.
• Highly effective written and oral communication skills.

The role as IT Support Service is a 6-month project to handle software installation, updating, commissioning and de-commissioning PC equipment - may be assigned in various locations Islandwide.

Position Responsibilities:

• Handle software installation, updating, upgrading and inspecting Desktops and Laptops for the usability and lifespan extension.
• Monitor arising faults or issues after installation and perform testing whether equipment is compatible to upgraded / update software.

Position Requirements:

• Technical Course or Diploma in Computer or any IT related field. Non-IT related graduates may be considered provided with sufficient knowledge.
• Base knowledge in various IT related products such as Cyber security, Network Security, Infrastructure and Systems.
• Work schedule is strictly 12 midnight to 4am with 3 to 4 days a week (mostly on weekend to avoid high volume production of the business).
