Project: Air Filtration
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Preparation
- Review project specifications and technical drawings for pipeline and flat-bottom tank installations.
- Plan and schedule installation activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Installation Execution
- Supervise the installation of air filtration systems, pipelines, and flat-bottom tanks, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
- Conduct inspections during installation to verify quality and alignment with design specifications.
Manage and resolve on-site challenges related to installation work promptly.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all installation activities comply with Singapore’s local government standards and regulations.
- Enforce safety protocols on-site, providing guidance to teams to minimize risks.
- Conduct regular safety checks and implement corrective actions if necessary.
Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to align on installation progress and resolve any discrepancies.
- Act as a key point of contact between engineering teams, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding project status and updates.
Testing and Handover
- Oversee testing and validation of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting installation work, challenges encountered, and resolutions.
- Assist in the handover process, ensuring all systems are operational and meet client expectations.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of installation processes, including daily progress reports and as-built documentation.
Submit regular updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Over 8 years of installation experience, particularly in air filtration systems and electronic gases.
- Proven expertise in pipeline and flat-bottom tank installations, with full project lifecycle experience.
- In-depth knowledge of local government standards and requirements in Singapore.
- Diploma or higher education in a relevant field.
- Proficient in written and spoken English for effective communication.
- Skilled in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong on-site communication and coordination skills to manage teams and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
