Project: Air Filtration
Responsibilities:
Electrical Design and Review
- Interpret and analyze Chinese and English electrical drawings for project execution. Ensure electrical designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with design teams to provide input on electrical systems and address discrepancies.
Construction Management
- Oversee electrical installation and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct on-site supervision of electrical construction, including cable routing, equipment installation, and system commissioning.
- Monitor contractors and vendors to ensure proper execution of electrical work.
Testing and Commissioning
- Lead the testing and commissioning of electrical systems for the air filtration project.
- Verify system performance and functionality, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports on testing results and recommend corrective actions.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Singapore’s regulations and standards, including workplace safety requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Act as a liaison between the project team and clients to address electrical-related concerns.
- Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports, commissioning records, and compliance checklists.
- Generate project status reports and submit them to senior management and clients.
Resource Management
- Coordinate material procurement and inventory management for electrical components.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Over 8 years of experience in electrical construction management, installation, and commissioning.
- Prior experience in air separation or chemical industries (experience with electronic gases preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and understanding Chinese and English electrical drawings to liasion with Colleagues and Clients.
- Diploma or higher education in a relevant field (electrical engineering or related disciplines).
- Skilled in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
