- Oversee and manage the daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and supervise both routine and emergency maintenance activities to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Develop, implement, and oversee security protocols and systems to ensure the safety and security of the facilities and their occupants.
- Manage and coordinate security personnel and vendors, including monitoring their performance and ensuring adherence to security policies.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities and security staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Plan and organize work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure that all outsourced maintenance and security services meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing and managing the facilities and security budget, including monitoring expenses and ensuring cost control.
- Process and verify invoices related to facilities management and security services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Ensure all facilities and security operations comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and security standards.
- Conduct safety and security training for staff and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and stakeholders regarding facilities and security-related issues.
- Address concerns and resolve problems related to facilities management and security to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities operations management.
- Possesses a valid Fire Safety Manager certification
