Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives within the instrumentation process industry. Identify key market segments, target customers, and growth opportunities for our products and solutions.
- Lead business development initiatives to expand our customer base and penetrate new markets within the designated region. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders to win new business and drive sales growth.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers in the instrumentation process industry. Understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points, and position our products and solutions as value-added offerings that address their requirements.
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments within the instrumentation process industry. Conduct market analysis, gather competitive intelligence, and use insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Forecast sales volumes, track performance metrics, and report on sales pipeline activity, opportunities, and wins. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Negotiate sales contracts, pricing agreements, and terms and conditions with customers to maximize revenue and profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, engineering, and customer support, to align sales efforts with business objectives, product development initiatives, and customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Solid sales experience in working directly with EPC / System Integrators / Installed-Based End-Users / Local Business Partners /Agents
- Strong in technical knowledge towards general Process Applications / Control. Familiar working with various Industry Communication Protocols and Functional Safety Compliance
- Strong knowledge of project execution fundamentals, which includes basic knowledge of project management, project engineering, project controls, FEED deliverables, basic project execution work processes and contractual legal terms.
- Reasonable and basic knowledge of process industries and safety compliance required. Knowledge should include basic process fundamentals and operations requirements for general industries including, but not limited to: Oil & Gas (mid and downstream), Petrochemical, Chemical, Pow er Generation, F&B, W&WW.
- Travel Requirement (40-50%) or whenever as required by the business
