Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of civil construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
· Ensure that contracts accurately reflect project requirements, scope of work, specifications, and terms and conditions.
· Review contractual documents to identify potential risks, discrepancies, and areas requiring clarification.
· Maintain contract files and documentation, including tracking revisions, amendments, and correspondence.
· Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and timelines.
· Track project milestones, deliverables, and payments as per the contract terms.
· Assess and manage variations to the contract, including evaluating the impact on costs, schedules, and resources.
· Facilitate discussions and negotiations related to contract changes with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
· Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and implement measures to mitigate them.
· Monitor insurance and bonding requirements for contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Requirements:
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, good communication skills and negotiation skills and possess strong leadership qualities Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
· Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
· At Least 5 years of Experience in Civil Works
· Proficient in Microsoft Office MS Project, Primavera and AutoCad
