Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all import and export shipments and logistics matters.
• Prepare and understand the certificate of origin application process with authorities for all export shipments to the countries with import duties.
• Manage customs related activities, including classification, valuation, and country of origin determinations.
• Build strong partnership with carriers and improve transportation/shipping costs.
• Work closely with service providers to eliminate logistics obstacles to ensure safe and timely shipping of products, including coordination with overseas partners to manage import activities.
• Manage third party transportation service providers performance. Negotiate contracts and renewals with service providers.
• Optimise the global logistics network, improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure logistics system activities operate in accordance with local and international customs laws.
• Implement and maintain compliance procedures/policies for import and export shipments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate trade compliance with sales, operations, finance, legal, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics/shipping functions.
• Prior hands-on experience with certificate of origin registration and shipment arrangements.
• Strong trade compliance management in import and export operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
