About the role

This position is for a Field Service Engineer who ensures that customers receive timely, efficient, and effective support to maximize the performance and longevity of the products or systems. When issues arise, service engineers diagnose problems, identify the root causes, and develop solutions to rectify them. This often requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Provide technical support to customers, answering queries, offering guidance on product usage, and resolving issues remotely or on-site. Effective communication skills are crucial for understanding customer needs and explaining technical solutions clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Commission and test of F&G equipment or systems at customer sites globally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely or on-site, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions and support.
• Train customer personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and product improvement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site and during travel.
• Provide technical assistance and support to colleagues and customers via phone, email, or video conferencing when not on-site.
• Perform technical tasks in projects (both local and oversea).
• Design the system, such as layout, network, ensure correct powering and redundancy, verify space for all equipment, according to AFS and DEC basic design standards.
• Responsible for project documentation.
• Report eventual problems with products and project execution to Technical Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the project and report possibilities to Technical Manager.
• Cooperation and follow-up of vendors and sub-contractors.
• Technical contact point with other delivery groups in projects when assigned as the responsible PM within the project
• Assist Technical Manager to prepare proposals.
• Develop a close cooperation with RSM’s to support customers in technical issues.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)
• Proven experience as a service engineer, field engineer, or similar role, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice, and work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by employers or customers.
• Ability to adapt to different cultures, climates, and working conditions while traveling internationally.
• Experience and Knowledge of Fire and Gas products.

About the role

This position is for a seasoned professional in Customer Service who works independently, resolving complex customer inquiries. This role maintains databases, makes recommendations to management for customer issue prevention and the sales team to identify sales opportunities. Makes updates to procedures to ensure the improvement of Customer Service processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Works, independently, to confer with customers who contacts the organization by telephone or electronically, provides scripted information about organization products or services, discusses customer accounts, and obtains or addresses customer complaints. Provides ability to deviate from the script to address moderately complex inquiries.
• Responds independently, to call or email customers to provide follow up on difficult to moderately complex inquiries.
• Works on documentation and solves difficult to moderately complex customer issues/requests/complaints in accordance to established procedures, and when required, redirects queries to appropriate department or personnel.
• Obtains and collects feedback from product development and service departments to confirm the most appropriate sources of materials and secondary sources of information that can be recommended to customers to answer their questions.
• Assists in the maintenance of databases containing information on customer interactions and transactions to facilitate future needs in data collection and consolidation.
• Confers, when required, with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or other personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
• Promotes, when required, sells a variety of products/services to ensure business targets are met.
• Provides, when required, after-sales support for various client contracts.

Requirements

We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative to act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve customers issues with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

As a minimum you must have:

• Intermediate or better skill level with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and an aptitude for learning software productivity applications quickly.
• Excellent written, oral, and reading comprehension / communication skills to both communicate effectively with customers and document cases.
• Experience and references in a customer service position.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the APAC Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager. This role is key in driving efficiency, optimizing processes and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple domains including ‘Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning’ (SIOP), Purchasing, Customer Service, Logistics and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The successful candidate will lead a team of (probably) six dedicated professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance the overall supply chain and customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes within the APAC region
• Oversee demand forecasting, inventory management and procurement activities to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations Planning teams to align demand forecasts with production schedules and inventory targets
• Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency

Customer Service Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 customer service representatives to deliver exceptional service and support to clients across the APAC region
• Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLA’s) to meet customer expectations for order fulfillment, delivery and post-sales support
• Address escalated customer inquiries or issues promptly and effectively, striving to achieve swift resolution and customer satisfaction
• Implement/adopt tools and processes to enhance customer service operations, including CRM systems, knowledge bases and training programs

Logistics and Distribution:

• Manage transportation, warehousing and distribution activities to optimize freight costs, transit times and order accuracy
• Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers
• Implement best practices for packaging, labeling and handling of goods to minimize damages and losses during transit

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Management:

• Develop and oversee RMA procedures and processes to facilitate the return, repair or replacement of defective products
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Technical Support/Product Management teams to analyze root causes of product returns and implement corrective actions
• Monitor RMA trends and metrics to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the supply chain and customer service team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
• Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, customer service or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost savings and customer satisfaction in a multi-national environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP) and other relevant software applications

Executes operational plans that include storing and shipping of products, warehouse management, cusotmer service, executing activities, responding to complex inquiries, and ensuring quality of work. Key Responsibilities:

As a Materials Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Manages team of intermediate or experienced professionals and sets short-term operational plans for team.
• Assist General Manager/Sales for inventory, backlog & orders/sales forecasting management
• Work with customer service associate with customer complaints/requirement, resolving critical issues or problems by coming up with recommendations of possible solutions
• Leads in the establishment of plans and maintaining data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
• Spearheads the development of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
• Leads in the establishment of continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.
• Responsible for the transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products.
• Oversees tracking of inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
• Warehousing management, Monitors tracking and shipping process.
• Leads in the development of plans to minimize risks for shortages and ensures successful customer delivery.
• Any other duties assigned in other work areas.
